Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tyler has been a professional writer for ten years. He's written print ads, created e-newsletters, drafted web content, developed press releases and worked on any other project he can get his hands on.

After stints at Intrinsix Canada and Fusion Communications in Winnipeg, Tyler headed east to Montreal in 2002 to work as a production assistant at Precision Graphics. While in Montreal, He also worked with an assortment of local and international freelance clients such as the Arcade Fire, McGill University, Softitler Canada, and Michael Knott (formerly on Warner Records). In 2006. he relocated to Calgary, Alberta, where he became a communications specialist at SMART Technologies.

Tyler is a graduate of the Creative Communications program at Red River College (which schooled such notables as World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Chris Jericho) and a five-year freelance veteran. He is also a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a BA in English Literature.

When he's not freelancing, you can often find Tyler indulging in his other interests, such as cooking, watching films from around the world, and catching live music.
